Safety and Environmental The hot stamping foils currently manufactured by Custom Foils Company are not hazardous as we interpret OSHA's Hazard Communication Standard (29CFR 1910.1200). Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for pigment foils manufactured after 1991 can be downloaded here: DOWNLOAD MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEETS (pdf) The data set forth in the MSDS relates only to the specific material designed and may not be valid for such material used in combination with any other materials or in any process. The data set forth in the MSDS is based on information provided by the suppliers of the raw materials and chemicals used in the manufacture of the product. CWC Industries, Inc. and Custom Foils Company makes no representation, warranty or guarantee with respect to the accuracy, reliability or completeness of the information for the material either upon use or after use. Our products have not been approved nor disapproved for internal or external bodily, food, or medical type applications. It is the user's responsibility to satisfy himself as to the suitability and completeness of such information for his own particular use, the protection of the environment, the health and safety of their employees, and the purchasers of their products. For products currently manufactured, from the typical product data received from our raw material suppliers, the sum of the concentration levels of lead, mercury, cadmium and hexavalent chromium do not exceed 100 parts per million by weight. More specific heavy metal data are available upon request. For products currently manufactured, from random samples tested, which are assumed to be representative, the concentration levels of Polybrominated Biphenyls (PPB) and Polybrominated Biphenyl Ethers (PBDE) were not detected to be above 50 parts per billion. |
