Material Safety Data Sheets

The hot stamping foils currently manufactured by Custom Foils Company are not hazardous as we interpret OSHA's Hazard Communication Standard (29CFR 1910.1200).    Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for pigment foils manufactured after 1991 can be downloaded here    : DOWNLOAD MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEETS (pdf)

  CONEG Heavy Metals

Concerning our P, D, E, K, H, A, M, W, and EW  series pigments manufactured after 1991, from the typical product data received from our raw material suppliers, the sum of the concentration levels of lead, mercury, cadmium and hexavalent chromium do not exceed 100 parts per million by weight.

Any trace quantities may exist as impurities in our raw materials.  A substantial number of our raw material suppliers, as well as in prior succession, further upstream raw material suppliers, may not routinely test for the presence of these.  Additionally, any of our raw material suppliers may at a future time, provide other information to alter this statement.  None of these chemicals are deliberately added as a raw material component to our products. Custom Foils Company does not routinely test for the presence of these.

RoHS 2002/95/EC

Concerning our P, E, D, K, H, A, M, W, and EW  series pigments manufactured after 1991, to the best of our knowledge, based upon the information provided by our raw material suppliers, we do not believe that the following chemicals are present:

Polybrominated Biphenyls (PPB) and Polybrominated Biphenyl Ethers (PBDE)

From random samples tested, which are assumed to be representative, the concentration levels of Polybrominated Biphenyls (PPB) and Polybrominated Biphenyl Ethers (PBDE) were not detected to be above 50 parts per billion.  Nevertheless, any trace quantities may exist as impurities in our raw materials.

Consumer Product Safety Act of 2008

Any trace quantities may exist as impurities in our raw materials.   A substantial number of our raw material suppliers, as well as in prior succession, further upstream raw material suppliers, may not routinely test for the presence of these.  Additionally, any of our raw material suppliers may at a future time, provide other information to alter this statement.  None of these chemicals are deliberately added as a raw material component to our products. Custom Foils Company does not routinely test for the presence of these.
